Like a phoenix they magnificently rose from the ashes. What Sonya Deville, Zoey Stark and Shayna Baszler thought they had destroyed was not. On the eve of the second anniversary of their formation, Damage CTRL were reborn anew.

July 29, 2024. St. Paul, Minnesota. Xcel Energy Center. Monday Night RAW. Sonya Deville, Zoey Stark and Shayna Baszler had just won a trios match against Lyra Valkyria and The KC Express. They assumed celebration but that was not to be. The Damage CTRL music hit. Sonya, Zoey and Shayna stared like they had seen a ghost. Dakota Kai, IYO SKY and Kairi Sane walked onto the stage, ready to deliver damage to the dastardly.

It had been three weeks since Sonya, Shayna and Zoey laid waste to Damage CTRL on the July 8, 2024 episode of Monday Night RAW. This new trio claimed they were now in control of the RAW Women's Division. That has been proven a lie because Damage CTRL still breathes. Dakota, IYO and Kairi hit the ring with a fury of vengeance, clearing it of those three bullies. IYO put a bow on it, hitting a moonsault off the top rope to all three on the floor as those cowards tried to run away.

Damage CTRL experienced woes in recent months. But on this night, they stood three as one. Stronger Together. Later backstage, Cathy Kelly asked The Ladies Magnificent what they thought of the rival faction's claim. IYO and Kairi scoffed at it in Japanese. Dakota stated that the only reason Sonya's faction was recently dominant is because Damage CTRL were not present. But they are back to re-establish their control. Like a true leader, Dakota intends to cut the head right off the snake, challenging Sonya to a match.

Year III of Damage CTRL shall begin with Dakota Kai battling Sonya Deville on the August 5, 2024 episode of Monday Night RAW.
