April 16, 2026. HyperX Arena Las Vegas at The Luxor. Las Vegas, Nevada. Ladies Night Out 16. Title Match Network brought its long running all women’s event to Vegas, giving fans a Sin City showdown pitting Violent Romance against the first-time team up of Alejandra Quintanilla and Ray Lyn. Nixon Newell & Miranda Alize were not off to a good start in 2026, losing two tag team matches in February. But they rebounded with a win over Shotzi Blackheart & Priscilla Kelly on March 15, 2026 at AWE Roar. Yup, the former Lady Wizardballs went to war! This Chronicler hopes video of that clash will someday surface.
Alejandra and Ray were in a festive mood, dancing a storm. Nixon wanted to get in on the fun, however Miranda kept it serious business. In the early going, Ray caught Nixon in the corner with a stink face. Miranda rightfully objected, not liking another woman’s buttocks so close to her girlfriend’s face. Alize furiously charged to break it up, Ray catching and tossing her face first into Nixon’s lap. Ray decided to give them a double stink face. I hope Ray Lyn didn’t have something unpleasant for dinner.
Ray and Alejandra kept control of the match, double hip smashing Alize. Alejandra took liberties with the rules, back raking Alize. Nixon blind tagged in, turning the tide with a leg lariat. Alize tagged back in, Nixon catching her in wheelbarrow position to plant on Alejandra’s shoulders, Miranda bringing Alejandra to the canvas with a headscissors. Alize teased a running PK only to slap the taste out of Alejandra’s mouth. I’m pretty certain Alejandra said something vulgar (the camera microphone didn’t catch) to deserve that.
Miranda smashed Alejandra with a nasty headbutt before tagging Nixon in. Newell put the boots to her opponent, furiously kicking her in the corner before getting in as much boot choke as five seconds would allow. Lyn tried to intervene on her partner’s behalf, instructed by the referee to return to her team’s corner. Violent Romance got in some double teaming, keeping it within the five second rule despite the referee’s back turned. And that dismal crowd had the nerve to boo them for playing by the rules, unlike their opponents.
Violent Romance whipped Alejandra to the ropes. Alize with a trip, followed by Nixon whacking her silly with a charging PK for two. Nixon slapped the hell out of Alejandra’s chest in the corner, sending her to the canvas reeling. Miranda and Nixon took turns with charging uppercuts followed by Nixon tripping Alejandra in the corner. Alize hit her running facewash then Newell followed with Cannonboar.
Alejandra got Miranda with a slingblade facebuster, canvassing both competitors. They made tags. Lyn hit two clotheslines on Nixon followed by two kicks and a leg sweep. Nixon got crushed with a double knees into a pin, kicking out. Ray hit a charging knee strike in the corner followed by a crossbody off the middle rope into a pin. Miranda saved the match breaking up the pin, immediately ripcord murder knee striking Ray. Alejandra with a hook kick to Alize. Nixon mauled Alejandra with a headbutt. Ray pump kicked Nixon, the impact knocking both to the canvas.
All four competitors slowly made their way to their feet. Nixon and Ray got up first, trading blows. Alize eye raked Ray off Nixon, which was not breaking the rules, rather it was justified payback because earlier Alejandra used a rake. Superkicks from Violent Romance sent Alejandra to the floor, taking her out of play. Miranda brought Ray down hard with a cutter, opening the way for Nixon to finish Lyn off with The Shiniest Wizard. 1-2-3. Violent Romance picked up a statement victory during WrestleMania Week 2026.
